Racist!
We all know that when a leftist runs out of argument, we know what is next, right?
RACIST! The end all of arguments. How do you disprove that you are a racist?
But lately there is a new term that is gaining traction, especially in light of the shooting in El Paso.
WHITE NATIONALIST!
Now I am supposing that this is to blend the concepts of White Supremacy with nationalism, mix it in with a preconceived notion of national SOCIALISM (NAZI) and abracadabra, You have an alt right monster. A White Supremacist Nationalist I suppose. But to say, use the term white nationalist as interchangeable? Well, they are trying, I can only surmise, so as to capture those Trump supporters that are NOT racist, but believe in the greatness of the United States, and happen to be white.
They are trying to make all of Trump supporters out as racists. That is where we are today in the US. We can't just have differences, we have to be us vs them, right vs wrong. Good vs evil.
White supremacy is evil. Period. Those that live it are racist by definition, just like the Aryan mindset of the National SOCIALISTS of Adolf Hitler's Germany.
Whether the socialism is practiced as communism or fascism, is irrelevant It is enforced at the point of a gun. .
While we can point to the rhetoric used by the President, we must ask, what are the results, and compare that to the rhetoric used by other politicians, since that seems to be the bar.
Full disclosure, I would say that if we would just focus on the individuals that commit crimes, rather than the unicorns that are convenient, probably fewer crimes would be committed. After all, we are a society where individuals should be responsible and held to account for themselves. It is the collectivist that assigns blame not to the individual, but to a group. (except when their ideology fails, then it was so and so's execution of said ideology, emphasis on execution)
How many leftist politicians have been in the hospital with life threatening injuries since Trump became President? I don't remember reading about any, but I do reading about two GOP'ers whose injuries were caused by leftists, heeding the call of leftist politicans.
Rep. Steve Scalise was shot at a softball practice with other GOP members of Congress and nearly died, by a Bernie supporter. Nope, not Bernie's fault, just pointing out the leftist tilt.
Senator Rand Paul was assaulted by his leftist neighbor. The assault was far more than just a knock down as the Senator had broken ribs, and over this August recess had part of a lung removed.
The Senate Majority Leader, recovering from serious injury not inflicted by leftists had to endure protesters at his home calling for his death.
Want more?
Senator Cruz was accosted in a restaurant to the point where he had to leave
Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the former Press Secretary for the President had a similar event
Sec. Betsy DeVoss soon after her confirmation couldn't even visit a school because of a threat of violence.
I could go on and on, because the list goes on and on.
Antifa, the so-called anti-fascist group has demonstrated their full fascist tilt by wearing masks and showing up and cracking heads, destroying property, and preventing legal activity. Why?
Since Trump was elected. We have had numerous Democrat members of Congress calling for violence and for their constituents to get in the face of GOP members of Congress and members of the president's cabinet. We just recently had a former member of Congress and current candidate for President insinuate by not answering that he thought ALL those that would vote for Trump are racists.
But you accuse Trump of fanning the flames?
But you want me to tone down the rhetoric?
Democrats hate Trump because unlike most of the cowards in the GOP he is playing their game, and he does it better than they do. He can play the race thing way better than they do. (Comparing "gang members to animals" to "they are too stupid to get into college without our help" (college affirmative action)) They really do hate it. So do I of course, but there are times I must admit, I rather enjoy him beating them at their own game. And that is with the media stacked so deep against him that to simply point out that they are misquoting him is grounds for censorship.
Even with a unified media against him (remember, that while FOX may crush fake news CNN and even more fake MSNBC in cable ratings, those ratings pale in comparison to the nightly news editions of NBC, CBS, and ABC) He is still likely to win reelection. Why? Because they still haven't figured out how he won in 2016. Which is fine by me. They still do not accept that he did win, and as such cannot prepare a campaign that will be successful in 2020.
Until they realize that it wasn't Russia, and that the race really was to 270 and not to the popular vote, they can't move on.
And so what are we left with?
Racist, and white nationalist. whatever that is supposed to imply.
As for me? I am white, I am a nationalist, but certainly no white supremacist!
