Oh, I can't wait!
I was initially going to write this post in regards to the pathetically weak response by Secretary "Swiftboat" Kerry to the hostage situation in Iran regarding the capture of two US flagged ships. Thanking the Iranians? For what? For stealing our technology from our boats? For forcing the one female member of the crew to wear a scarf? For coercing an apology? Or maybe for the photos and videos of US Sailors on their knees, hands over their heads in a surrender position.
No wonder the Saudis, even though they are worried about the price of oil and their economy, are reaching out to make a deal with the Pakistanis, probably for nukes, in exchange for economic aid. The US has become a non player in the Middle East, and there is only one person to thank. When you consider the fact that the Saudis are being more open in collaborating with Israel, they aren't the only ones. They all realize the US preference seems to be swinging to Iran.
Will it take a strong Republican president elect to get the other American prisoners of Iran freed? Well, I guess it would be a fitting end to a very Carteresque presidency. Wouldn't it?
Kudos to Senator Paul for giving the finger to the GOP in their debate lineups. He has gotten more coverage and camera time by not sitting at the kiddie table, then he probably would have, regardless of which table he sat at. It should be obvious by now that he won't get the nomination, but I will predict a much, much, greater showing in Iowa than how it appears now. No politician is a stronger advocate for the Constitution than he.
A thought on Trump's feelings regarding Eminent Domain. He believes that the Kelo decision by the Supreme Court is awesome. If you don't know, it is the decision that government can use their eminent domain power to take from one private property owner and give it to another, if it benefits the government. Not to be used by the government, but so that the government gets more tax money from it. So the thought? What if Trump wants to take church property, which is tax exempt, and give it to someone else? Under Kelo, that would be within that authority. Who did I hear that from? Senator Paul.
Ann Coulter has been catching a lot of heat, regarding Cruz, and his natural citizen birth. Her point? Barack Obama was born overseas to a US citizen, so for all those birther types that support Cruz... Well? And no, I am not saying all Cruz supporters are birthers. Really? He is my number 2 choice.
Finally, the reason for the title. Today, Planned Parenthood announced that they were going to take the Center for Medical Progress into court. For what? Exposing their practices? I have to say that I hope they do. Can you imagine a CMP lawyer asking about Margaret Sanger? So when they say that that is not who they are anymore, ask them what their award's name is that they give to their media enablers. I would love to have them expose PP for their genocide, for their forced sterilization history, and their desire to keep the unfit from reproducing, wrapping it up into a reproductive freedom bow, and having the very people they are trying to exterminate sing their praises. Oh, please let this go to trial, please allow cameras, and please, please, will the lawyers for CMP drag the CEOs on the stand and let everyone see them for what they are. Butchers, and profiteers. Nathan Bedford Forrest (founder of the KKK) would be proud.
I will get the popcorn, let the show begin!
