A letter to the GOP voter

Dear GOP voter.

I won't go into the details, but I would just say this:

Had enough yet?  Wondering why with control of the House and the Senate we are passing the Pelosi-Schumer Bill?  Wondering why, with welfare rolls plummeting, we are increasing spending for assistance?  Wondering why the Wall you demanded, that you elected President Trump specifically to do is not being built?   Why DACA is still a thing, why we are debating eliminating due process for gun owners?

I am not.  I did, but not since the 2014 mid term elections.

I know, but if you don't vote for GOP, Nancy Pelosi would be Speaker.  Yeah, and?  What, we would have a massive omnibus bill?  Oh, never mind.

But McConnell!  you cry.  Yeah, does anyone think that lil' chuckie schumer (D-NY) is going to allow the filibuster to continue?  You don't, do you?  Please tell me you don't.   It will be the first thing that is gone when he gets control.

McConnell got all the mileage he can from judicial confirmations, for which we are grateful, has run out.  Nothing left in the tank.

You get the idea, right?  For some reason, your GOP congressmen can't come to any kind of agreement, and so are a fractured party.

So, tell me, why does voting third party negate your vote?  Yeah, you know it doesn't.

Until the grassroots conservatives, those who organized Tea Parties, get off the GOP train and start working for real change, nothing will budge.  The only way the third party movement can get off the ground is by running through the wringer any candidate, whether Congress, state legislature, or school board, to make sure that they really mean they support the Constitution, and not just lip service.  Speaker Ryan should have told McConnell and Schumer, "we passed our appropriation bills, so we are going on recess, understanding that we will come back when we conference on them".  And then adjourn the House, and leave town.  The government being shut down is no where near as bad as this monstrosity.

They will screw you at every opportunity.  We heard the GOP NeverTrumpers whining about Trump not being a real Republican.  Well, the President beat out 16 candidates in the Primary, and won the general, probably ONLY because the Democrats screwed over the DNC equivalent of Donald Trump, Socialist Bernie Sanders.  Oh, and they ran the worst campaign, with the worst candidate ever.

I supported Trump, and voted Libertarian for the other positions in 2016 when I was in Idaho.  No way I could have voted for Johnson, which was sad in a way.  Such an opportunity,  two horrible candidates, two parties held in contempt by the American people, and he blew it.  Sorry, just thinking about what could have been.

I am not saying to dis all GOP members.  Look tomorrow to the Senate to see who stands on principle.  There won't be many.  The usual names.  Paul, Lee, probably Cruz, and maybe a few others.

Did I mention that the House and the Senate supported extension of the Security apparatus spying on you.  Yeah, that.

Just think about it.  If you give, don't give to a party, give to an individual with principles.

That is what I do.  Not that I am anyone.
