Much about a tweet last week by Rupert Murdoch, just watched Wolf Blitzer try to corner Dr. Carson about the tweet. This is what it said:
Ben and Candy Carson terrific. What about a real black President who can properly address the racial divide? And much else.
Of course, when Wolf read the tweet, he, as is typical of liberals who are probably closet racists, (I know, repeating myself) inserted a comma, to make a segment that he thought would be worth watching. He put the comma in between President and who. Of course, now we have the Kingpin of the FOX empire saying that President Obama is not a real black. I applaud Dr. Carson for not going down that path, insisting that Rupert Murdoch is not a racist. I would applaud louder if Dr. Carson would have said;
"Why did you separate the sentence Wolf? Are you so desperate for ratings that you have to prove that FOX is full of KKKers? Are you a racist Wolf?"
I can only guess that Dr. Carson was too stunned by such an idiotic statement to respond that way. Of course we could talk about punctuation to demonstrate;
I want to eat, grandma. I want to eat grandma.
See the difference? Maybe Rupert was referring to the racial divide, and the President's lack of desire to address it.
On the FIVE, which I wish I could watch more often, they were talking about the President trying to downplay Putin replacing him on the world stage, by defining leadership as "taking the lead on Climate Change", the President's definition given on 60 Minutes last night, NOT setting up shop in Syria to support his ally, (I know, the President wouldn't know anything about that) and beginning to push back ISIS for real. So Meghan McCain, at least I think it was Meghan, a wishy-washy milquetoast sometime Democrat, had a great line. It was to the effect of "President Obama has made Jimmy Carter look like Napoleon Bonaparte on the international stage" WOW!!! (not an exact quote) That should be the quote of the day! Climate Change, really?
Did they really understand 500 years ago, that blankets brought over by Columbus in his quest to commit genocide on the Caribbean Indians were infected by a virus that most Europeans had developed an immunity to, (smallpox) back in 1492? Too bad he didn't wait 500 years when genocide has become an accepted practice on the left, all in the name of reproductive freedom. I had to mention PP once didn't I?
Some of the founders were worried that by passing the Bill of Rights, we would have limited our inalienable rights by enumerating them. Now there are rights to marriage, to abortion, to privacy, to education, and on and on. I guess they were wrong about the limit part. (for the record, a right is not a right if it requires taking from someone to give to someone else) just sayin.
