Libertarian,

I will not apologize for the Libertarian Party posts that I share.  Here is why.

Congress approval is at an all time low.

People complain about the two party system.  Constantly.  Yet, when it comes time to vote, do they consider a third party?  Not likely.

The Libertarian Party (LP) stands for individual freedom.  You can interpret that however you like, but just like it means that adults should be responsible for themselves, in say, using drugs, it also means that as an individual, you don't have to participate in something you disagree with.

The LP has been around for decades, very rarely do they get on the debate stage, or even win Congressional seats, or state positions.  Why?  Those that are in power, politically, or in the media, don't want to disrupt the system, in fact, they have worked out a deal, where they collude to keep outsiders off the stage, and deny them the recognition they need to compete.

Think about most of the questions or comments that are included with the picture.  Have you asked yourself those questions?  We all make our own decisions, but if you complain about the two parties, but don't want to consider the LP, then why are you complaining?

Libertarians are their own worst enemies.  They abhor a strong central power, and so are loathed to run for those offices.  How many politicians do you know, that as soon as elected, seek to get rid of the power that they hold?  How many people in whatever position even do that?  What has your Congressman/Senator done to devolve power to the States?  What has your state legislature/governor done to boost liberty by eliminating laws that people don't even know exist, and cost individuals thousands of dollars annually.

So when you see those posts,  if they make you laugh, or think, either share it, or at least like it.  The Libertarian candidates, Johnson and Weld, need the media to pay attention.  The only reason that they are polling at all is because of the strong dislike of the main party presumed nominees.  Each party has a large section that hates its candidate, and they are looking for alternatives.  The GOP in Utah dislike immensely Donald Trump, but are extremely conservative.  Gary Johnson was a popular governor in  purple blue New Mexico.  William Weld was governor of a deep blue state (Massachusetts).

All it takes is a small handful of states to go Libertarian to throw the election to the House of Representatives.  The states listed above, (certainly UT and NM) could easily go LP.  Does that mean a likely victory for the LP in Congress?  No, but it will cause people to think, it will wake up the two parties that maybe they should be serving their constituents, rather than constantly running for re-election.

If they make you laugh, again, you know what to do!  If they make you mad, ask yourself; "when was the last time that a politician gave me the time of day?"

Share share share!  After all if it is good enough for your money, (taxes) then it is surely good enough for social media.
