Mind dump. All over the place.
Want to know why I don't identify with the GOP?
In 2010, we were told that with the House, we could eliminate Obamacare. nope
In 2012, the GOP nominated a governor that President Obama credited for creating Obamacare (Romneycare). They got trounced.
In 2014, the GOP said that if they won the Senate, they could not only repeal Obamacare, but all the other Executive Orders. They won the Senate. They folded on everything.
In 2015, the GOP House passed a clean repeal of Obamacare. Under reconciliation, the Senate also passed it. President Obama vetoed it, and it died.
In 2016, the GOP said that if they won the Presidency that they would finally repeal it. They won. Did they propose the same bill that passed the House and Senate? IF they had meant it in 2015, it would have been easy. But nope, Ocare was to be replaced by Ocare-lite, or Ryancare.
THEY DIDN'T MEAN IT! It was a token in 2015, a fundraiser, probably, and nothing else.
I will predict right now, that if they don't get rid of Obamacare, and fix taxes before September, then the cake walk that was to be the 2018 Senate elections will not be. And the House could be in jeopardy as well.
President Trump has been referred to as Hitler. as a dictator. Too bad, because had he been a dictator, then Obamacare would have been over and done. He doesn't control the media. He doesn't have the rubberstamp legislature, and the cheerleading press that President Obama had. He couldn't even get his own party to vote in lockstep with him. Unlike the other party, that sacrificed its majority for Ocare.
I hope that the Democrats filibuster Gorsuch's nomination. It can be busted for all eternity. The fact that Senator Sanders (I-VT) you can fill in the blank what the I stands for. I _ _ _ _. He thinks that the 60 vote requirement is NOT a filibuster (3 Pinocchios by the Washington Post). No, Senator Sanders, a simple majority is all that is required for anything in the Senate, except ratification of a treaty, or a vote to send a Constitutional Amendment to the States. It only requires more when you have a filibuster.
If you have had contact with anyone overseas, or had contact with anyone that had contact with anyone overseas, your identity has the potential to be revealed by the NSA. That is why no one will say that Trump tower was wiretapped. No old school bugs, or an extra connection at a switchboard. All communication is tracked. They won't deny this. All web searches, and web traffic is known. All it takes is someone with the capacity to unmask your identity. Causing trouble for the security apparatus? They will reveal whatever there is out there on you.
A Senator takes an oath to uphold the Constitution. And for someone that has taken that oath to suggest that feelings should be put ahead of the law? That is the primary accusation by the left on Judge Gorsuch. That he will uphold the law as written. If a judge doesn't wear that accusation as a badge of honor, they have no business being a judge.
