Okay, nostalgia, who doesn't love it?

Senator McConnell has ditched any pretense at Ocare Redux.  He is now reviving the 2015 Repeal Bill.  Every GOP Senator (and House member, and President, for that matter) owes their job to some extent to their promise to repeal the Patient Affordable Care Act (Ocare 1.0)  They owe control of both Houses of Congress to the same. Even President Trump owes. to some extent, his success to that banner.  Now, after the failed attempts to repeal-not repeal, it is down to this.

WRITE!  CALL!  VISIT!  (likely the voice mail boxes are full, so be patient, and be sure to email)  Your Senators need to know where you stand, and you need to know where they stand.  If you have GOP Senators, they need to know you support them.  If you have a Democrat Senator, they need to know that they will be held accountable. (Especially if they are up for re-election, right Senator McCaskill?)  Okay, it is extremely unlikely that she will vote the way her state votes.  GOP landslide, including President Trump by nearly 20 percentage points.  But it is time to act.

 As Democrats and Republicans in Blue states seek to consolidate power by shutting down small businesses, in the "Name" of COVID prevention, one must ask, is it time? Businesses, small businesses, are fighting against all odds to stay afloat. They are fighting and losing. The Brownback Effect, and why Donald Trump and those associated with cannot win in 2024.

 As it stands, Donald Trump is likely to win the Republican nomination for President in 2024. Even Governor Ron DeSantis (FL) likely cannot beat him. He cannot win the general. A bold statement, though if thought about seems perfectly logical. As a reminder, it was when the Republicans in the Senate caved in December of 2015 on an Omnibus Spending Bill (sound familiar?) That on this very blog, it was predicted that not only would Donald Trump win the GOP nomination (The Lib supported at the time, Senator Rand Paul, then Ted Cruz, Gary Johnson (L), before supporting Trump), but that he would win the General Election.
