VETO

President Trump is decrying the filibuster.  He is complaining about the rules of the Senate which allow a party that will vote for nothing "Trump" to control the legislation.  Don't give me the BS about the Republicans in the Senate under President Obama.  It wasn't they who stopped legislation.  It was the Senate Democrats (majority party) under Senator "Dingy" Harry Reid.  Senator Reid stopped any legislation that worked.  Any legislation that would fund the government (actual funding bills, not Omnibus CRs).  And if it would make President Obama or the Democrat party look bad, then it didn't see the light of day.  He did the same as the Minority Leader in the Senate under Republicans.

So, our President is said to be a man of action.  Okay.  ACT!

 VETO THE DARN BILL!

Send it back.  Say that the Congress is not doing the will of the people.  Single out Republicans that are balking.  Group the Democrats.

Next step?  Ensure that essential services are provided.  Move the money around.  Ask Congress for a stop gap CR, until they can get it right.  President Clinton, and President Obama, faced with government shutdowns, made it as PAINFUL as possible to the public.  They trotted federal employees out bemoaning their mortgages, when they will eat again.  How did they ever recover from being off three weeks the last time?

Congress paid them for the time they were furloughed.    Yup. Free vacation.  They knew it when they were whining on TV.  They knew they were going to get paid.

President Trump.  If you are the "bull in the china shop" that we thought you were.  It is time to

BREAK THE ESTABLISHMENT!

Let them know you will not stand for the political establishment to defeat the will of the people.

 As Democrats and Republicans in Blue states seek to consolidate power by shutting down small businesses, in the "Name" of COVID prevention, one must ask, is it time? Businesses, small businesses, are fighting against all odds to stay afloat. They are fighting and losing. The Brownback Effect, and why Donald Trump and those associated with cannot win in 2024.

 As it stands, Donald Trump is likely to win the Republican nomination for President in 2024. Even Governor Ron DeSantis (FL) likely cannot beat him. He cannot win the general. A bold statement, though if thought about seems perfectly logical. As a reminder, it was when the Republicans in the Senate caved in December of 2015 on an Omnibus Spending Bill (sound familiar?)
